Last week, an attorney representing Sage Collegiate sent me a letter, demanding the removal of my security camera, saying it is in violation of some Nevada law. The letter was pretty wild in my opinion. If you want to know what I think about it, I crafted an 8-minute TikTok video where I try to dissect it.
Funny thing is, I’m not the only target; another neighbor who has expressed concerns about the school received something similar. Oddly, it’s the first contact from the school regarding my security cameras. In my humble opinion, a simple “please, would you…” type letter or email would have sufficed instead of these legal theatrics.
Further highlighting Sage Collegiate’s disproportionate reactions, another community member received a venomous response when sharing neighbors’ responses point by point using Kinne’s original letter as a template. Rather than addressing the content of the message, Kinne opted for this unhinged response:
“…Demand is made that you immediately cease the use of Sage Collegiate’s logo and intellectual property and retract this response. Should you fail to do so, Sage Collegiate reserves all rights, including seeking injunctive relief and damages, as well as recovery of its attorney fees and costs…”
Given Kinne’s expressed desire for a productive partnership with the community, perhaps investing in a PR manager could be more beneficial than retaining a lawyer at this juncture. It might be time to focus on building bridges rather than erecting legal barriers.

You’re a psychopath and your addict husband, must live miserables lives that’s why you blocked me , why you blocked me on TikTok? What you so scare of , the fact that I make you look stupid , I’d love to come face to face with you and that piece of trash addict , just know your address will be posted in a lot of places along with the things you say , so expect people knocking at your house or more
Golly, that is a lot for me to compute! Did I block you or did TikTok block you? I know the algorithm is set to block threating or abusive comments. I am an announced passivist, however my “addict” ex-military husband is armed to the teeth with every 2nd amendment protocol allowed to keep any potential intruders from our home. I suggest steering clear of our property, but if someone should be foolish enough to invade our home or property, may the best man win. xoxo
And yeah, I’m terrified of you making me look stupid, *laughs in 4th grade English*
Addict? How did I become an “addict”? Come face to face with me? Oh please keyboard warrior, you’ve already threatened my wife and my home. I do not take to kindly to those actions. You’re so scary with a fake email and name, man up you little pussy, do you really want to come face to face with a combat veteran who jumped out of airplanes and mission was to help the enemy meet their maker? Please be my guest and then maybe we can chat about this addiction you mention, I didn’t realize you are one of my physicians, oh wait your grammar and punctuation tells me you obviously didn’t get past the 5th grade.
Fake name and email, but posted those threats using a real IP address. Oopsie!
